  • Information and Communication Technology(ICT) and Telecommunications

If you have left school recently, or are about to, you're probably thinking about what to do next. A career in ICT or Telecommunications will give you great job opportunities and whilst you are training you get paid - so you can earn while you learn.

You can choose to do either an Apprenticeship or an Advanced Apprenticeship depending on your qualifications

Examples of ICT occupational areas covered by Apprenticeships:

  • Designing new software
  • Equipment build and installation
  • Infrastructure installation
  • Maintenance
  • Network design and implementation
  • Service and repair
  • Technical support (Helpdesk)
  • Test and commissioning
  • Use of bespoke software applications
  • Use of software applications in day to day work
  • Website design

Not employed? take a look at our Pre-Apprenticeship programs which can lead to an apprenticeship.

  • Why choose to do an Apprenticeship?

An Apprenticeship lets you work with an employer whilst completing your course. So you get the best of both worlds - a chance to earn money whilst gaining an industry recognised qualification.

An Assessor will support you throughout your training. You will attend our local Bristol based training centre on a day release and your training can be adapted to suit you and your employer. What's more we'll help you to find an employer if you don't have one already.

If you don't have the qualifications, experience or confidence to do an Apprenticeship straight away you can do a pre-apprenticeship programme.

  • Qualifications

You will work towards nationally recognised qualifications. We offer continuous support and advice throughout your training and an opportunity for excellent career progression.
