- Entry to Employment / Pre-Apprenticeship Programmes
E2E gives you the opportunity to learn skills in a number of working environments.
These are Pre-Apprenticeship programmes for 16 - 19 year
olds, with the aim being to develop your
skills and eventually place you within an apprenticeship in your chosen field.
The areas we cover are:
- Business Admin
- ICT
- Painting and Decorating
- Engineering
- Retail and Customer Service
- Independent Living
- There are five main parts to Entry to Employment
- Personal & Social Development
Aimed at giving the knowledge and understanding of
personal and social issues in order to support young people
in:
- Becoming confident individuals who are physically, emotionally and socially healthy.
- Being responsible individuals who make a positive contribution to society and embrace change
- Managing risk together with their own well-being
- Functional Maths, English and IT
Develop core skills needed for the workplace and learn how to apply them to the working environment
Develop your skills in selected vocational areas and work towards gaining a qualification
An opportunity to gain experience in a working environment which will help you gain the skills and experience you need.
Take part in activities such as mountain biking, potholing, raft building and archery
All students are required to attend an interview and complete initial
assessments. No formal qualifications are required, however students must
express an interest and commitment to the programme.
E2E is a roll-on, roll-off programme. The programme length will depend on your individual needs and requirements
