- "Kick Start" Foundation Learning / Pre-Apprenticeship Programmes
The "Kick Start" courses are our new suite of 12/14 week programmes designed to give you the opportunity to learn skills in a number of working environments.
These are Pre-Apprenticeship programmes for 16 - 19 year olds, with the aim being to develop your
skills. Upon completion you may want to join our apprenticeship programme or it may help move you onto
another course or job.
The areas we cover are:
- Business Admin
- Painting and Decorating
- Engineering
- Discovery (Choose between Warehousing and Hospitality)
We have four starts through the year for the 12 week
Business Admin and Painting and Decorating courses, they are:
- 2nd August 2010 to 22nd October 2010
- 1st November 2010 to 4th February 2011
- 14th February 2011 to 6th May 2011
- 9th May 2011 to 29th July 2011
We have three starts through the year for the 14 week
Engineering and Discovery courses, they are:
- 6th September 2010 to 10th December 2010
- 3rd January 2011 to 8th April 2011
- 18th April 2011 to 22nd July 2011
All students are required to attend an interview and complete initial
assessments. No formal qualifications are required, however students must
express an interest and commitment to the programme.
