- IAG (Information And Guidance)
As well as getting the qualification training and skills you need to go
in to your chosen career we are here to provide support for you.
Often other stuff in your life can become a barrier and affect your focus
and ability to attend or learn. We aim for you to get the most out of being
at Brunel and Gordano Training and are happy to provide support when things
are not always feeling great for you in your life, such as if you have
housing or money troubles. We can offer practical tips and support and also
refer you to specialists to get you back on track.
During your time at Brunel and Gordano Training, Lyndsey Gethin is our IAG
(Information And Guidance) Co-ordinator and she can support and point you in
the right direction to help solve any issues you may have.
- ASN (Additional Social Needs)
BGT run a Personal Support Clinic for all "Kick Start" learners with a qualified Human Givens
Psychotherapeutic Practitioner (Paul Catchpool). The sessions can be informal
(drop in) or formal (pre-arranged) times. Sometimes there are issues that arise
that can affect your learning and your progress in life. In these sessions anything can be
discussed from college/work load stress and placements; relationships
(tutors or peers) through to issues concerning trauma and anxiety disorders
due to external factors.
